Keeping Your Smile Bright & Healthy
UPDATE July, 2022
Message to patients – face covering requirements for fully vaccinated and unvaccinated patients
Our dental practice is abiding by the California Department of Public Health’s mask guidance issued on February 28, 2022. The guidance states that face masks are still required in health care settings, regardless of the individual’s vaccination status. At this time, all patients and visitors are required to wear a face mask while visiting our dental office except when seated in the patient chair for treatment.
As always, if you’re not feeling well, and have an upcoming appointment, please give us a call to reschedule.
While you’re at home resting, here are some helpful oral health tips from the @AmericanDentalAssociation:
✅ Throw away your brush once you are feeling better: Replacing your brush head ensures you get rid of lingering bacteria.
✅ Stay hydrated to avoid dry mouth: Drink plenty of water, as dry mouth can also put you at greater risk for cavities.
✅ Choose sugar-free cough drops: Many cough drops contain sugar, making them equivalent to sucking on candy.
✅ Choose the right fluids: Water is always the best choice. To replenish electrolytes, drink sports drinks in moderation due to sugar content.
